The Solomon Islands National University (SINU) is hosting its third Flea Market at the Kukum campus field.
The event commenced on Thursday and will end on Friday starting from 10am to 6pm each day.
The aim is to provide local entrepreneurs within the SINU community the opportunity to showcase and sell their products.
This initiative is organized by the newly established Business Investment Commercial Services (BICS) department under the campus life division.
Marketing and Promotion Officer Ms. Renee Bisili shared in an interview that the SINU Flea Market was first introduced in April 2025 and has since gained popularity within the community.
“The fourth edition is already planned for September this year,” Ms. Bisili added, encouraging the public to attend and support local entrepreneurs. A variety of goods, including food, drinks, clothing, and arts and crafts, will be available for purchase over the two-day event.”
