SOLOMON Islands planned parenthood association (SIPPA) workers have ended their three days training yesterday.
This was in preparation for any disaster that may arise in the future.
The training covered medical care, mental care and physical support for survivors and sexual violence during future crisis.
It was aimed to assist participants to increase their knowledge on management victims during disaster.
SIPPA program officer Ben Ango said participants show more improvement and actively demonstrate the outcomes during their discussions.
“The participants know their responsibilities and how they can help victims”.
Mr Ango said their new strategy and activities planned for victims will be conducted during any future disaster.
