THE Solomon Islands Women in Business Association (SIWIBA) has started its weekly Night Food Market on Thursday last week (17th March 2022).
A statement from SIWIBA said the food market will be held every Thursday and Friday at the Point Cruz Bulk Shop car park from 5pm to 9pm.
“The Night Food Market is an opportunity to promote health local food recipes from our diverse provinces and for the members to generate income to support their families,” the statement said.
SIWIBA wanted to assure the public that the vending SIWIBA members are all certified by the Honiara City Council Environmental Division in food safety and hygiene preparation skills.
It added that the night market will also be conducted to align with COVID-19 safety measures.
