A significant milestone was achieved at Sinamauri Clinic on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, as the installation of solar power systems was completed, marking a major improvement in healthcare service delivery for the community.
A team from EverExceed Company, funded by Peak International and distributed by UNICEF, successfully carried out the installation, which will provide reliable electricity to the clinic in West Kwaio, Malaita Province.
This project, which includes the installation of solar high-brick systems at several clinics across Malaita, aims to provide clean and sustainable energy to healthcare facilities in remote areas.
So far, EverExceed has completed installations at Malu’u Clinic and Rafufu Clinic, with Sinamauri Clinic being the third facility to benefit from this much-needed solar power.
The solar system installed at Sinamauri Clinic includes a 5-kilowatt system with ten solar panels, each generating 620 watts, ensuring a steady supply of power for medical services. This initiative comes after years of requests from the local community, who have long been without reliable electricity in their healthcare facilities.

Devincia Manupio, an electrician with EverExceed, expressed satisfaction with the progress of the installations, noting that despite challenges, the team was able to carry out the work smoothly. “The community’s positive feedback has been overwhelmingly good, and it’s inspiring to see how much they appreciate the solar power system,” he said.
Nurse-in-Charge of Sinamauri Clinic, Marx Oloisae, thanked EverExceed for their support, emphasizing that the installation would vastly improve healthcare services at the clinic.
“We have been waiting for a long time for this kind of service,” Oloisae said. “Now, with the solar power, we can ensure better care for the patients, especially those who live in surrounding areas.”
The Sinamauri Clinic’s Board Chairman, Tom Ui’uru, also expressed pride in this development. “On behalf of the board, we are proud that Sinamauri Clinic has reached this milestone,” Ui’uru remarked.
“This is a significant step forward in the development of our clinic. We are grateful to UNICEF for distributing the solar power system and to EverExceed for carrying out the installation.”
With these solar systems, clinics like Sinamauri are now empowered to provide improved healthcare services, giving hope to local communities that have been underserved for many years. This installation marks a crucial step in making healthcare more accessible and efficient in rural Malaita.
