Solomon Airlines has announced the return of the airline’s popular ‘shopping flight’ initiative for their valued economy passengers travelling on flight IE701 from Brisbane to Honiara on Saturdays.
From today Friday 6 February onwards, all passengers including children, are offered a checked baggage allowance of 40kg in addition to 7kg of cabin baggage, on Solomon Airlines Saturday Brisbane-Honiara flights during the months of February, March, May, August, September and November 2026.

“Our Saturday shopping flight makes it a little easier to do that, so that shopping for extras is even more convenient and cost-effective,” she said.
