Some members of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIP) have voiced out their concern about the delay in their Special Duty Allowance (SDA) payment.
Information reaching this paper claimed that while some officers have already received their allowance payments during the last payday, others are yet receive theirs.
One of the affected police told this paper in Auki that some of them are missing out in the last payout.
“We are not the only ones but there are some officers around the country also missing out.”
The office said, it is not fair for their other officers to receive their allowance payment while other officers are being left out of the payment.
“The officers work as a team and they expect to receive their allowance at the same time as the other fortunate officers.”
With that he is calling on the responsible authority to settle the outstanding allowances.
