FIVE medical students from Taiwan last week spent time at Visale community high school in North West Guadalcanal to conduct health promotional talks.
The group included two boys and three females including their supervisor.
Speaking on behalf of the team Zuyang Weing said their visitation was part of their visit program to Solomon Islands.
She said most of them are students studying at medical universities in Taiwan.
She said their volunteer work in Solomon Island is to provide health talks and awareness to schools and communities in the country.
The team said the trip allowed them to learn about the culture of Solomon Islands.
Since their arrival in the country in June, they have been visiting many parts of Honiara and Guadalcanal.
They spent most of their time helping out at the national referral hospital.
The students thanked the students and communities that have supported them over the past weeks while in the country.
