STUDENT’s intakes for form one at Tanakuku community high school in northwest Guale have raised concerns over the school’s incapability to hot secondary students.
Students and parents say the school enrolled 50 students for form one this year, but it has no buildings prepared for the students.
Peter Chikai said most of the students’ needs to live in dormitories because they have no relatives in that area.
“Looking at the list, most of the students came from various schools throughout Guadalcanal province and they have nowhere to stay.
“There is no dormitory to host students and no learning facilities.”
He said some parents are already struggling to transfer their children to other schools.
