Teejay Holdings, an ICT firm based at Suite 144, Town Ground Plaza, in Honiara has become the first company to respond to calls for prize sponsorship for the King George VI School Chapel fundraising raffle.
The company donated a laptop computer to be offered as one of the raffle prizes — even before the official request reached their office.
Director Mr. Tony Koraua said, he was moved to act immediately upon learning of the initiative to rebuild the school chapel.
“We understand that King George VI School has been without a chapel for the last 50 years, and for the school to go without one for another 50 years is not an option.
“Teejay Holdings is committed to supporting this important project and is very pleased to sponsor a prize,” Mr. Koraua said.
During the handover ceremony, Miss Amanda, the company’s Manager, praised the raffle committee for their efforts and reaffirmed the company’s ongoing support for the project.
Teejay Holdings specialises in ICT products including computers, printers, photocopiers, and accessories such as computer mice, memory cards, and other peripherals.
