The Solomon Islands Tennis Association (SITA) has announced that registration for the 2017 tennis program is now open.
SITA Development Officer, Ian Honila revealed the registration fees.
The membership fee for a term is $100 for a term that is 10 weeks, $50 for five weeks and $10 for weekly sessions.
“Registration for each candidate interested are now open and feel free to contact Sports Develop Officer (SDO) or Coach Doreen and Henry for more Information,” he said.
The program has started already and target audiences are from aged 5 -10 years old, 10-16 years and 16-above.
Each training period are based on local school calendar terms.
Since there are four school terms, tennis will be based in those school dates and competitions will be organized for schools and the kids joining the program.
Honila also calls on Schools who are interested in introducing tennis to contact SITA directly so they can organize school visits.
