The Solomon Islands Tennis Federation (SITF) has officially announced the four athletes who will represent the country at the upcoming Pacific Nations Cup 2025.
This competition is set to take place in American Samoa from June 30 to July 5.
The team was selected following a recent playoff tournament hosted by SITF, aimed at identifying the nation’s top-performing players for the prestigious regional competition.
Representing the Men’s Team are: Junior Miki and Benjamin Junior
The Women’s Team will feature: Margret Leoa and Jen Tahunipue
The Pacific Nations Cup is a major event in the Oceania tennis calendar, bringing together top talent from across the Pacific region, with the Solomon Islands’ delegation hopeful for strong showing as they gear up to face off against the region’s best.
SITF officials expressed confidence in the team’s preparation and highlighted the players’ commitment and performance during the selection trials.
The event will feature 60 plus elite athletes and officials from 11 Pacific Island Nations.
