THE Pacific Games 2023 Bill will establish three committees to run the event.
They are the Hosting Authority, Organising Committee and Facilities Committee.
Chairman of National Sports Council, Gabriel Suri said the organizing committee is an independent committee.
He said the organizing committee deals with organizing the event, and facilities committee deals with facilities.
Mr Suri said the hosting authority is the oversight body because the government is funding the games.
Furthermore, Suri the committees can appoint their own sub-committees.
Moreover, Suri said NSC will operate differently and performs its normal function.
