Privacy concerns at the Honiara International Airport Arrival Rest rooms has been solved.
This was confirmed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Aviation and Communication Moses Virivolomo yesterday.
Mr Virivolomo said over the past days the contractor had been working hard to get the job done which saw the men’s toilet fixed and adjusted to the required privacy standard expected.
He said now that work on the men’s toilet had been completed, the contractor currently was working on the Ladies’ rest rooms, and expected to be completed this week.
Both the male and female rest rooms recently appeared to be without partitions to separate the toilets.
This has triggered much criticism from the general public and on social media which does not support the privacy of users.
