A FOUR days training funded by Live&Learn in partnership with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism (MCT) has ended successfully in Isabel Province last week.
It was organised at two different venues namely Lololeheo Homestay and Boletei, Havulei Ward and was attended by nearly 42 participants.
About 24 participants attended the training held at Lololeheo while 18 participants at Boletei.
A statement from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism (MCT) said, the training ended successfully and was very innovative.
Chief of Lololeheo Homestay Joseph Bako said, the training was well delivered and excited.
“Because we learn things more practical especially when we held such training in one of the newly built homestay,” Mr Bako said.
Community coordinator under the Live & Learn program at Kokota district, Bravery Masi highlighted since the start of the training last year four homestays have been established in the area.
He thanked the partnership which resulted in locals venturing into tourism business.
