The Telekom Super League (TSL) defending champion’s Solomon Warriors are back at the top of the TSL table match week 19 over the weekend.
Warriors back at the top of the table after thrashing FC Juniper Tree 7-1 fulltime score to go top of the table with 37 points with a goal difference +40 over taking Centrals Coast who also sits with 37 points but a lower goal difference of +37.
Warriors with the win against FC Juniper Tree on Sunday saw them secured a total of 11 wins, 4 draws and 2 lose in 17 matches played the season which give them 37 points in total wins and draws so far.
Central Coast FC however still maintains on the second spot with 37 points despite playing on 15 matches so far, winning 11 matches, draw 4 and lose none which give them 37 points in total.
Unfortunately, their two matches supposed to be played last two weekends were postponed due to majority of its players are off for national duty with the senior men’s team.
Thus they have 3 matches in hand to be played after match-week 19.
Laugu United maintains at the third spot with 35 points, Real Kakamora FC sits with 33 points on the fourth place while Henderson Eels sits with 29 points on the fifth spot.
Meanwhile, here are the results after match week 19 over the weekend.
Two matches played on Saturday saw Laugu United and Henderson Eels shared spoil after 3 all fulltime score before Kossa FC shared point after 1 all draw.
Sunday match results saw Solomon Warriors defeated FC Juniper Tree 7-1, Marist outclassed SOSA FC 5-0 before Waneagu United beat Southerns United 4-0.
A set of three matches will be played this Wednesday at the Lawson Tama Stadium as catch up matches.
The first match will see a top clash between Central Coast and Henderson Eels at 11am, Honiara City and Laugu at 1pm before Solomon Warriors and Southern United at 3pm.
