DEFENDING Championship of the Telekom S-league (TSL) Solomon Warriors FC is optimistic to finish top in this season’s despite of their defeat to Western United.
To fulfil their hopes they have imported two Vanuatu players, Daniel Natou and Kency Tangis from Amicale FC last week.
The duos have arrived last Sunday and are teaming up with the club during the club’s trainings.
Their inclusion is set to provide a strong striking force and midfield for Warriors in their effort to win the final quarter of the TSL.
Warriors is currently sitting on the second position with 26 points just five points behind Western United sitting at the top with 31 points.
Head Coach, Moses Toata earlier told Star sport that his team will fight back for the top spot when the TSL competition resumed.
He said the club have set its goal to make use of the last remaining games because in the game of football anything can happen.
“If we can do that, we will have the chance to retain the top spot again,” he said.
Solomon Warriors will meet KOSSA FC when the league resumes this weekend.
