Dear Editor – As a concerned citizen, I am concerned about the numerous complaints about Members of the Parliament being corrupt.
For the past years I have heard the same complaints by the general public of our members of parliament for being corrupt.
We are the ones that voted them into the house.
Therefore, we must consider who we are voting for.
If you vote for a person because you are being bribed, you are actually laying the foundation for corruption.
Corruption is a long time issue in our country and by now we should be able to identify the type of leaders we are missing
Let us be ethical. Good leadership has good outcomes and bad leadership has bad outcomes.
Therefore, I urge all my good people of Solomon Islands to be the leaders they prefer to represent them in the National Parliament themselves.
I believe we can vote for the right people to represent us in Parliament.
It is up to us to make the change.
We can ignore the stain on the blue, yellow and green flag or remove it!
