Verification process for West Guadalcanal Constituency was successfully completed on Thursday night with counting now underway.
A total of 21 ballot boxes have are now at the counting venue. This include one for pre-polling.
According to Returning Officer Mr. Willie Kokopu results would be declared on Friday night.
“Hopefully result will be officially announced tonight, Friday” he said.
Counting venue is at Rove Police Club.
This morning all the ballot boxes have been moved to the counting desk ready for counting.
As of 11am this morning, Friday 6th June, counting has commenced.
