The Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) national women’s under-16 invitational championship will kick off this weekend at the SIFF Academy field in Honiara.
The competition will start from Saturday August 8 and will run for one week.
It comprises of 11 clubs namely Hana, Koloale, KOSSA, Malaita Kingz, Marist, Real Kakamora, Solomon Warriors, Western United, Malaita, Guadalcanal and Central Islands.
The league will commence with the FIFA launch with marks the handing over of equipment to the teams by FIFA and will be witnessed by the FIFA Development Officer for Oceania and the OFC Women’s Development Officer.
