A week-long gathering for United Church youths successfully ended at Kokeqolo in Munda, Western Province on Sunday.
This annual event was held purposely for youths to get involve in religious activities, aimed at strengthening spiritual life in the society.
Rev. Willie Maezama of the United Church Honiara circuit said, the program enabled youths to come together, discuss, fellowship, pray, sing, learn about God’s word and share experiences on issues they encounter.
“These are the main activities featured during the one week program and hope that all participants have been blessed and fit to recognize the church mission field,” Mr Maezama said.
He said during the program they also elected new youth leaders and decide the next host.
Meanwhile, he encourages all the youths to continue working together with their leaders towards the next host.
