YOUTHS of Veravaolu in Northwest Guadalcanal are being told to work in collaboration with Save the Children for the implementation of the youth program.
Morris Taovia community leader of Leosa village highlighted this during the signing of memorandum of understanding with Save the Children last Thursday.
Mr Taovia said it is important for young people to work collaborate with Save the Children to build a good foundation for their future in the communities.
“You have to focus and cooperate with the organisation in all activities and programmes conducted,” he said.
Mr Taovia said young people must work actively as their attitude towards work is a way forward for next generation to carry on.
He urged youths to get involve in YOPP program and stop taking alcohol and drugs.
Mr Taovia appealed to youths in the community to engage themselves in those activities.
“It is helpful for you to access information to promote healthy lifestyles and participate in decision making.”
