COUNCILLOR for Vura Ward in East Honiara Alfrence Fatai has stepped in to assist Zion Futsal Club.
Following a request from the club management for assistance, a cash donation was handed over to them.
Councillor Fatai said it was for a good course to help the club in the upcoming Easter Knock out.
“I’m pleased to assist because this is part of Youth Development in sports within my ward,” Fatai said.
“I encourage the management and players to continue with their preparations and wish them the best in the tournament,” he added.
Zion FC Manager Rodney Ata thanked Fatai for responding to their request.
“On behalf of the Management and players, I would like to thank Fatai for his generous assistance.
“This donation will be used to help our club prepare for the upcoming Easter Knock out which we will be participating in,” Ata said.
The Easter Knock is scheduled to take place at G Camp on the 9th of April.
