Five Adventist technicians from Solomon Islands are in Port Vila, Vanuatu to volunteer their service and skills to support the evangelism campaign currently organised by the Vanuatu Seventh Day Adventist Mission.
The program called Prophecy Encounter is being led by Pr Dough Batchelor who is preaching the end time message from the word of God and Dr Chester Kuma from Solomon Islands Mission (MID) presenting on health topics each evening.
The event is being held at the Korman stadium allowing residents of Por Vila to attend.
The team of volunteers from Honiara paid for their own airfare and accommodation while in Port Vila for the week long program.
The team traveled to Vanuatu last week and the Vanuatu Seventh-day Adventist Mission President, Pastor Charlie Jimmy welcomed the volunteers who are now assisting with ‘Yes to Jesus’ production Team at Korman Stadium to provide livestream during the nine evening series.
The evangelism program commenced over the weekend on Friday 15th August and will conclude this weekend Saturday 23rd August 2025.
Meanwhile, over the weekend 14 inmates from Medium Correctional Center in Port Vila have been baptised after two weeks program conducted by Amazing Facts evangelists inside their cells in Port Vila.
