Eight youths have been arrested for playing loud music late at night and threatening community leaders at Ambu and Kokomu in Malaita province on Sunday 17 August 2025.
Auki police successfully carried out the arrest.

Superintendent Ramosaea said, “The suspects were released after they had been charged with the offense of intimidation contrary to section 231 of the penal code.
“They will appear before the Auki Magistrates’ Court on 25 August 2025.
