A free medical check-up for officers of the Royal Solomon Island Police Force (RSIPF) was held at the Rove police headquarters on Monday 22 December 2025.
The 4th China Medical Team (CMT) and 10 medical professionals from the Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou Medical University in Guizhou province conducted the health check.

Team Leader (TL) of the CMT, Doctor Zhao Xueke, said the CMT offers specialized treatments like cardiology, urology, nephrology, and acupuncture, addressing significant health gaps and strengthening medical cooperation between China and the Solomon Islands.
TL doctor Zhao Xueke said this medical aid is part of China’s broader health cooperation with the Solomon Islands, which includes major projects like the new comprehensive medical center handover in 2025. ‘
CMT plays a vital part in improving access to quality health care, particularly in underserved areas, and symbolizing a strong bilateral health partnership.
