About eight (8) female Age Care workers left the country this week to begin their four years contract with Bolton Clarke, Australia’s largest independent not-for-profit aged care provider, offering home and community support, retirement living and residential aged care.
These workers will be separated into two different sites, both located in New South Wales. Four will be working in Murwillumbah while the other four will be based in Pa Nora Point.
One of the females, Joyce Anna Rusi, a former nurse expressed her excitement stating that this is a great opportunity for her to learn new skills and earn money.
However, she is also emotional at the same time as having to leave her family and kids behind is really hard.
LMU wished the workers well in their new job and encouraged them to be good ambassadors of our country!
