The South Sea Evangelical Church (SSEC) Northern region leaders in Malaita will meet this Thursday at Subobono village in Ata’a to elect their new Superintendent.
This was confirmed by the Ata’a SSEC Association assistant senior pastor Paul Saeni Sade on Tuesday.
Mr. Sade said the four days conference will attract SSEC leaders from Kwara’e, Fataleka, To’obaita, Lau Mbaelelea and Baegu/Asifola.
In the conference they will elect their new superintendent for the next four years.
He said at the moment there are two candidates showing interest for the position.
The conference will start tomorrow and ends on Sunday.
A new superintendent for the SSEC northern region will be announced at the end of the conference.
In Malaita SSEC are divided into two regions namely northern region and southern region.
The northern region covers SSEC Churches from Kwara’e, Fataleka, To’obaita, Lau Mbaelelea and Baegu Asifola while the southern region covers from Are’Are and Small Malaita.
