MALAITA’S assistant director of nursing Helen Tolobulu has urged a community in east Malaita to take great care of their newly build clinic.
The community of Mamulele opened their new clinic last week.
“This is a new facility donated to you as a gift,” Mrs Tolobulu told the community.
“It is your responsibility to look after it so that it lasts long and benefits your future generations,” she added.
The clinic was funded under the Rural Development Project (RDP) and constructed by local carpenters.
“Youths, parents and the communities please treat this facility as your own home.
“Be reminded that this new clinic can only last long if you take good care and treat it as your own,” Mrs Tolobulu said.
She thanked the national government and RDP for funding the new facility.
