He revealed that this year the school discpline committee suspended more than 40 students for two weeks.
“There are complaints regarding this action however, the school would like to see discipline at school level improve and we will uphold that.”
Meanwhile, Mr Dorovia said the Chinatown based school has gone through a lot of challenges in its academic strive this year.
“…this year is a very challenging year for Coronation school as we have struggled through a lot of hardships and difficulties in our educational journey.
“However, the school administration has taken the initiative to lead, manage, and address school affairs according to priority areas,” he said.
He said, their main focus this year is basically to keep the momentum of the school operation progressing effectively, adding this year was used as a recovery period in terms of school finances.
“…the school is at our pace and there are some new inputs within the structure of Coronation school this year 2016, for instance we have a separate body to look after the welfare of the school as a whole and it is called ‘The school management Committee’ which is chaired by pastor Stephen Alufurai,” he added.
He said, the school administration is working really hard to drive the school towards achieving the goals of education through its vision and mission which was driven by the current school administration.
