MONEY is not important when it comes to people’s health, says Chinese Medical and Acupuncture clinic owner Dr Sue Ho.
Dr Sue’s clinic in the Capital City has been in business for the past three years and according to her, people are aware of her low fee and many had come in for treatment. “On average the charge, it is between $45 and $50 and it depends on the problem and what kind of treatment and equipment that will be used,” she said.
Dr Sue said patients were not pressured into paying the whole amount if they couldn’t afford to.
“If people face financial problems and come from a very poor family, I’m willing to give them the medicine free because their health matters and I want them to get better,” she said.
Acupuncture is an important component of Chinese traditional medicine and has been proven effective in the treatment and prevention of many diseases.
