Honiara Football Association (HFA) division 2 runners up, G-Camp, aims to maintain their current position as second round of the soccer competition sets to kick off.
The boys from Gilbert Camp in east Honiara are closely behind league leaders Sokamora FC from Makira.
The competition has been running since last year.
Coach John Winnian said their aim is to maintain their current form and look for opportunities to rise to the top of the ladder.
“We want to get on top of the ladder this round in order to secure a space in division one in the next season,” Winnian said.
He added training has already resumed ahead of the resumption of the league.
“I have a team of highly talented players so I believe we will accomplish our dream this round and move up to division one,” Winnian said.
