ALL Malaitan youths eligible to vote are being challenged to make the right decision to vote leaders who have the heart for change.
An outspoken Auki resident, Moses Ramo told this paper this week as the nation prepares to go to the polls in a fortnight.
“It’s good that youths must think carefully before casting their votes.
“We must vote leaders who have visions for Malaita province. Vote for people who have innovative ideas to create job opportunities for us youths in our own land,” he said.
He said the province had witnessed a lot of groundbreaking ceremony, yet there was no tangible development taking place.
“What happened to the much talked about economic growth centers,” he questioned.
Mr Ramo said due to lack of job opportunities in the rural areas people are migrating to Honiara.
He said that even the schools and clinics need major improvement.
“This speaks volume that our past MPs are not doing enough of their province.
“It’s enough of such leaders and youths must be wise and vote for leaders who can bring development to our province.
“Lets vote for quality leaders who have the heart to prioritise health, education and other developments for Malaita Province,” he appealed.
