THE Ministry of Health and Medical Services is now calling on citizens who are yet to get vaccinated to do so immediately.
The Ministry made this call today (19th April) as it announced COVID-19 vaccination fixed sites for Honiara in light of the growing number of COVID-19 positive cases in Honiara.
The vaccination fixed sites for Honiara are;
- FOPA village, Panatina
- Solomon Ports opposite BSP Bank, Point Cruz
- NRH new dental clinic next to the main road and just in front of the new morgue eastern end of the hospital.
The Ministry said vaccination mobile teams will also be rolling out in communities.
“Get your vaccination jabs done immediately to boost your immune system against COVD-19 as we are now facing potential second wave of COVID-19 infection with increased positive cases reported in Honiara,” the Ministry said.
It said for the provinces vaccination is continuing mainly at the provincial capital and semi urban areas and will soon roll out again across our islands.
