The 2015 Honiara Netball Association (HNA) League enters round eight today with another 13 exciting matches scheduled for Lawson Tama Netball Courts.
According to HNA President Shalom Akao, three matches have been set down for the Premier Division, two for the Premier Reserve Division and four matches for both Division A and B.
Matches will kick off at 9 am with Hale taking on Shooters for division A at court 1 while HCC against Namoruka for division B at court 2.
The must watch battle of the day will feature Premier Division giants Police 1 and Isa Purple at 1:30, Breeze and Gold Ridge 1 at 3pm and Sunrise taking on Green Berets 1 at 4:30 pm.
The Premier Reserve Division matches between Isa Blue and Gold Ridge 2 will kick off at 10 am while Southerns will take on Police 2, at 12 pm.
All the Premier and Premier Reserve Division’s matches are scheduled for court 1.
The other Division A matches for today are Kakamora taking on CY Pearls at 1pm, Police 3 up against SOSA Nellystead at 2pm, followed by Southerns 2 and Doves 1 at 3pm.
Division B’s second set of matches for the day will feature FAMBS and Kwaks at 10am, Luapel and Doves 2, at 11 am and Wannabes and SM Hornbills at 12pm.
All Divisions A and B matches will be played on court 2.
The HNA President thanked all teams and umpires who have been complying with the scheduled matches last weekend.
“Thanks to all teams and umpires who have been consistent in turning up on time and making our games to complete on time,’’ Ms Akao said.
She also reminded all teams and umpires to take note of their games today to ensure they are properly warmed up and ready to take the court on time.
Meanwhile the HNA quarterly meeting planned for this Sunday has been postponed to next Sunday 16 of August 2015.
