A new media platform called ‘Streamline Visuals’ was recently launched aimed at promoting all sectors of the country.
Co-owners Steveron Timi and John Kirry explained the aim is to elevate the Solomon Islands’ media industry by promoting culture, artefacts, history, education, health, and key sectors of the economy through dynamic productions.
Their efforts have recently earned them membership in the Youth Entrepreneurs Council Solomon Islands (YECSI), a platform dedicated to empowering young business leaders across the country.
Streamline Visuals founded by Timi and co-owned by John Kirry, who also heads JGM Enterprise Limited offers a wide range of media services.
These include business promotions, tourism documentation, media support for government ministries, and services for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and private organizations.
“This new media initiative will not only help document and promote important aspects of our nation but will also contribute significantly to preserving our cultural and historical heritage,” Timi told the Solomon Star this.
“Becoming an official member of YECSI marks a major milestone for Streamline Visuals, opening up opportunities for greater collaboration with other young entrepreneurs and key stakeholders nationwide.
“Our vision is to use media as a powerful tool to tell Solomon Islands’ stories — stories that deserves to be seen, heard, and preserved for future generations,” Timi said.
“This achievement is a major personal milestone for me. From starting as a humble photographer and videographer to establishing a media business and association — it shows what commitment and perseverance can achieve,” he said.
He added, such opportunities offer them the chance to become role models, not only for their families but also to grow the team.
Through Streamline Visuals, Timi and Kirry hope to inspire more young people to pursue careers in the creative industries, while also providing essential services to boost tourism, education, health awareness, and economic development throughout the Solomon Islands.
