Solomon Island National Provident Fund (SINPF) is urging employees who fail to nominate someone in their NFP nominee form to do so.
This was highlighted during the financial inclusion expo held at National Art Gallery last week.
The spokesperson said many employees who pay their NPF contribution failed to fill their NPF nominee form and its important for them to fill it up as soon as possible.
“NPF is urging employees who fail to fill up their nominee NPF form to do so before any action is taken.”
The officer explained that nominating somone is an important part of NPF requirement.
“The nominee will receive the money once you die so its important that you nominate a member of your family such as a brother, sister, son, daughter to receive your contribution when you die and its makes it easy for NFP to give the money to the right person a claim is being made.
“Therefore I urge all employees who yet to nominate someone to please come forward and fill the nominee form,” the NPF spokesperson said.
