POLICE operations to catch drink-drivers on the road are continuing.
This is being done using the recently introduced breathalyzers.
Deputy Police Commissioner Juanita Matanga revealed that as of last week they have conducted the operation and will continue this week.
She said they are targeting hot spot areas as well as dealing with traffic checks on the road.
Ms Matanga urged everyone to always follow the law so it helps them do their work.
“Once police are entrusted to do their job; it is the responsibility of all Solomon Islanders to build our country,” Ms Matanga said.
“It is important that everyone works together so that our nation will be built in a way that we can have a standard in the Pacific.”
