A NEWLY ordained priest of the Catholic Church Fr. Nickson Donald Sade tum held his first mass at Louna church East Russell, last Sunday.
Fr Nickson was ordained priest on Saturday 20th December at Louna by His Grace Archbishop Adrian Smith and assisted by the Catholic Diocese of Central Solomon Fr.Jimmy Nolan.
During his sermon, Father Jimmy Nolan of the Catholic Diocese of Central Solomon reminded Fr Nickson about his career.
“Fr Nickson Donald, you are now a priest of the Catholic Church,” Fr Jimmy said.
“You are now responsible to feed God’s people with God’s words daily and show light to Christian life you call to serve and put your trust and faith in God despite the challenges you encounter during your journey,” he continued.
The event was attended by Louna communities, Visale Parishioners, friends and relatives of Fr Nickson Donald and other Parish in the Archdiocese of Honiara.
During the mass Fr Nickson acknowledged the communities, friends, relatives and Archbishop Adrian Smith for the support and the prayers they offer him during hardship and sacrifices he encountered.
