THE Solomon Islands National University (SINU) is taking another step to ensure student pay fees on time, by imposing a deadline.
A statement from SINU said they are doing away with the leniency and will adopt the new regulation to ensure fees are paid on the required time.
“SINU has installed a new Student Management System which will ensure that these deadlines are strictly adhered to.
The statement said the following deadlines have been placed and non-compliance will result in sanctions being imposed on students.
“Final date for early withdrawal with full fee refund is 12th August 2016. Students who withdraw after 12th August and before 9th September 2016 will get only 75% refund of fees. Students who fail to pay fees in full by 9th September 2016, will receive a fail grade and will NOT be allowed to continue as students at SINU.”
Fee payers and students were asked to take not of the new stringent rules.
Registration for semester two is now underway at SINU.
