Dear Editor – I was sad to see a leading SOE like SIPA had acted the way they did lately by failing to attend an important meeting arranged by PAC for them (SIPA) to attend to tell their stories of how things are going down at the wharf.
These PAC meetings were designed or planned for all the SOE’s bosses to present themselves before the committee face to face, one by one and give an account of the authorities they look after.
While the others present, SIPA decided to absent itself. Why? Are they scared to answer questions?
Sir, if you think you are on the right track with your new reform programmes for good or better then go and tell it out. Tell them on the face.
Lastly get this right, when you in Rome, act like the Romans do. Follow their laws and practices, and Solomon Islands is no exception.
When you are in the Solomons, do likewise. Don’t bend the rules to suit your end.
