AFTER a successfully working as a marketing consultant with the company, Solbrew Company welcomed Fiona Martson as the new head of marketing on Wednesday.
Mrs Martson and her team will be responsible for all marketing, branding and communications activities for the company.
A resident of Solomon Islands for over 6 years with extensive international experience in advertising, marketing and graphic design, she has served as a marketing consultant to the company and was part of the team to deliver Johnny Arrow and Captain Jack brands amongst other key communication tactics.
According to a statement from the company, the new head of marketing is excited at the opportunity as permanent staff.
“I’m excited to be part of the SolBrew company, and to be able to combine my experience, training, research and instincts as well as the greater global learning from the Heineken group to build on the brands already established in the market, and to begin to engage our consumers in insightful and interesting new ways.
“We can only achieve this by really understanding our consumers, their desires and motivations and how our brands interact with their daily lives.
“SolBrew has introduced some inspiring new product innovations in the recent past, and planning is already well underway for more exciting projects in the coming years, and I’m thrilled to be part of the team to plan and deliver these.”
General Manager, Jan Arie Smit said it is a privilege to work with highly a capable team.
“Therefore I am very proud and pleased to get Martson on board in the Solbrew Management Team.
“She will be instrumental in taking the position of our famous local and global brands to a next level.”
The general manager said the company is going from strength to strength.
