Special Secretary to Prime Minister’s office Rence Sore says he had clarified his position as a director to the government owned company that has a joint venture with Skyline Investment Group company to implement the public servant housing scheme.
Mr Sore reiterated after the Opposition issued a second statement calling for his sacking along with Minister for Commerce William Bradford Marau.
“I already explained my position, so I can’t say anything about opposition’s repeated call for my sacking,” Sore stated.
Mr Sore recently explained his position as a director to Solomon Islands Development Corporation (SIDC) a company owned by the government that appointed him to serve as an interim director on voluntary basis.
He stated that he neither own the company nor a shareholder to it, but acted as an interim director for time being, while company is still develop on its embryo stage and will recruit a full time director once they fully establish.
Sore’s appearance in the company haus records, as a director to SIDC company that joint venture with Skyline to build public servant housing scheme has spark public anger since last two weeks.
