GILBERT Camp Water Pump Stone field seven a side soccer league kicked off its round two matches this week.
The teams have completed their round one matches last week.
On Monday history has twisted which saw a lot of improvements and the competition between teams will be getting tougher.
The first match on Monday saw Youngstars team defeated Brothers Team by a goal to nil and has signaled that the competition will be tougher this round.
Youngstars team was at the bottom of the table after round one.
However, they entered this round two in style to defeat the mighty Brother Team.
Chairperson of the Gilbert Camp Water Pump Youth for Change group that organised the competition Lesley Sanga said that so far he has seen improvements in the league.
“Yes, my boys are starting to improve with their skills in soccer,” Sanga said.
Compared to round one, the boys are struggling hard to get to the system of playing, he added.
Sanga said they also notice drinking habits in the area started to go down because the boys were busy each evening while engaging in the league.
“This is what we want to see and we will continue to organise more activities to keep engaging the youths of this area.”
The organisers have appealed for more assistance to support the league this year.
