A THREE days tourism operators’ training was organized at Bita’ama North Malaita last week.
According to John Andrew Kiri from the area the training was organized by the Ministry of Culture & Tourism which attracted 20 participants from Lau Lagoon to Bita’ama.
“It was an interesting training which motivated the operators in the Northern region of Malaita to help them run their businesses,” Mr Kiri said.
The participants have acknowledged the training.
A spokesman from the Tourism Ministry told the Solomon Star yesterday, the training was to educate those who have already started their busineses and those who wish to venture into the industry.
The Ministry said, it will be organizing more tourism training for operators in the country.
