Solomon Island Visitors Bureau (SIVB) will organise a half day Service Excellent Training for Immigrations and Police Officers, Wednesday.
The training will be held at SIVB conference room starting 10am. SIVB funded the training as part of improving service delivery to people visiting the country.
The training aims to give immigration and police officers better ways to deliver services for communities and people.
SIVB senior officer Nelson Manepura told the Solomon Star yesterday it’s the first time for such a program to be initiated by SIVB.
More training for other organisations will be conducted later.
“This is just the beginning and will continue throughout the year,” Mr Manepura said.
