WORK on the 10 kilometre road on Rennell Island has resumed.
Reports reaching this paper said this came after work came to halt over the past months due to lack of logistical support.
When completed, the road will link villages along the Lake Tengano to the rest of Rennell Island.
“Currently the project has resumed, now with the final touches to the project which included, clearing, pouring of gravel and compacting of the road,” a Rennell islander Jim Sevesi said.
The national government funded the road.
