YOU must have visions and work towards those visions in your education.
Minister for environment, climate change, disaster management and meteorology and MP for Gao-Bugotu, Samuel Manetoali told the students of Sir Dudley Tuti College (Kamaosi) during his visit to the school.
“Discipline yourself and work towards your dreams,” Minister Manetoali said.
A total of 201 students from class 6, forms 3, forms 5, forms 6 and forms 7 graduated last week.
Mr. Manetoali said that education is very important and you must discipline yourselves and work hard.
He added he was happy with the students who graduated.
The theme for the celebration was, ‘Empowering learners with vision through education.’
“Education is all about discipline and hard working. If you study hard and discipline yourselves towards your visions, you will achieve your dreams,” said Mr. Manetoali.
He said that if others can do it, you will do it to.
“Nothing is hard, we are all human beings, the only secret is discipline and hard working.
“I have proven it during my secondary days. When I was in King George Sixth School, my task was to feed the pigs. I love this task because I love agriculture,” he said.
“But because no one in Isabel choose to be lawyer, so I go for it.”
He told the students that there is no secret to success in education.
“The only secret that I know is discipline and hard working.”
He urged the students to discipline and work towards their visions.
Mr. Manetoali was the guest of Honour for the graduation ceremony that was hosted at Sir Dudley Tuti College in Gaobugotu constituency last week.
